Two regenerative exhaust air purification systems are operated at the plant. The excess autothermal heat generated in the process was to be used to reduce natural gas consumption.
Installation of thermal oil heat recovery boilers to extract heat from the exhaust air stream. The heat recovered is transferred to areas with natural gas-fired thermal oil heaters as required.
Reduced natural gas consumption through the use of existing waste heat.
