How your project progresses with Rothos

From the initial idea to the operational system: we accompany you every step of the way—personally, solution-oriented, and on schedule.

1
Initial consultation & analysis

We determine your goals and examine alternatives. We then develop an economical and compliant solution based on technical data.

We clarify the technical and commercial framework conditions of a potential order, focusing on the customer’s needs and objectives.

During the initial consultation, we also discuss possible alternatives for implementation.

Our aim is to find a technically and economically sound solution that meets both the customer’s requirements and our implementation capabilities.

In doing so, we take into account the “applicable technical regulations” and official requirements. If necessary, additional analyses of the process and operating data are carried out, the results of which form the basis for a detailed offer.

2
Discussion of the solution & awarding of the contract

Discussion of the offer, clarification of all details and deadlines – up to the order and final order confirmation.

Discussion of Rothos’ offer, with possible changes, additions, and corrections.

Once the scope of delivery and services has been finalized, with a description of the delivery limits and mutual obligations, manufacturing specifications, and the creation of a schedule, the commercial aspects of the potential order are handled with the aim of placing the order. Exchange of the client’s order and our order confirmation.

3
Detailed planning & design

Rothos plans, calculates, and designs the entire system and monitors the construction progress in coordination with our customer.

Once the order has been placed, we carry out all the necessary planning, calculations, and designs for the manufacture of the plant components and draw up detailed installation plans for the entire plant on site.

Close cooperation between the client and Rothos, taking into account the schedule and the implementation of necessary construction site services, ensures on-time and technically sound delivery followed by installation.

4
Procurement, manufacturing & testing

Manufacturing in accordance with all applicable regulations. Final inspection also carried out together with our customer on site.

Our plant components are manufactured in accordance with the rules of technology, involving a “notified body” (e.g. TÜV) where necessary. Manufacturing processes are documented.

The final inspection of the manufactured components takes place at the manufacturer’s plant, in the presence of the customer if desired. Purchased parts are always procured in accordance with technical requirements and with the necessary certificates, and are included in the overall delivery.

5
Assembly, commissioning & acceptance

The system is delivered on time and is immediately ready for use. Also available as a turnkey installation.

Our team, or technically competent subcontractors, carry out all order-related installations such as mechanical installations, electrical installations, and insulation of hot components at your site under our supervision.

Close communication between the client and us regarding the installation processes is crucial for meeting deadlines.

Commissioning on our part takes place after completion of the assembly work and fulfillment of the necessary on-site services.

Acceptance of the system, including functional/performance testing if necessary, takes place immediately after commissioning together with the customer and concludes with the mutual initialing of the acceptance and handover protocol.

6
Aftercare & after-sales service

Rothos remains a long-term partner of our customers even after commissioning.

After successful commissioning and acceptance, we stay available at any time to answer your technical questions and help you with operational problems with the delivered system.
We definitely recommend that you keep a stock of various important spare parts and take out a maintenance contract.

We definitely recommend keeping various important spare parts in stock and taking out a maintenance contract.

Note: The systems we deliver, and thermal oil systems in particular, are subject to the rules of the Pressure Equipment Directive and the Industrial Safety Regulation and usually require acceptance testing before commissioning. Recurring inspections are urgently required.
