Description

At Rothos, you can expect a wide variety of projects in process engineering plant construction.
From planning and design to construction management and commissioning, you will be responsible for complete systems.

 

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Planning and design of thermal oil and steam plants
  • Coordination and construction management on the construction site
  • Commissioning in Germany and abroad
  • Collaboration with internal departments and external partners

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or comparable
  • Professional experience in design, construction management, and commissioning desirable
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
  • Independent and structured way of working

Technical Draftsman – Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

Description

At Rothos, you will work on a variety of projects in process engineering plant construction.
You will translate concept and design specifications into precise CAD models, manufacturing and assembly documents,
and keep the project documentation clean and complete.

 

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Creation of 2D/3D CAD models as well as manufacturing, welding, and installation drawings (plants, apparatus, piping, steel construction)
  • Developing and maintaining P&ID flow diagrams, isometrics, parts lists, and accompanying documents
  • Planning standard parts, fittings, measuring points (E-MSR), and maintenance rooms
  • Collision checks, dimensional measurements/as-built adjustments in coordination with project management and assembly
  • Close cooperation with design, purchasing, and manufacturing; audit-proof filing

 

Qualifications/requirements

  • Completed training as a technical draftsman or technical product designer (machine and plant design) or comparable
  • Confident in using common 2D/3D CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
  • Experience in piping, apparatus, and steel construction drawings; parts list and documentation routine
  • Understanding of relevant standards/regulations (e.g., Pressure Equipment Directive, DIN/EN) is an advantage
  • Structured, careful way of working; ability to work in a team; occasional construction site measurements are no problem

Qualifications/requirements

  • Confident use of MS Office, ideally CAD skills
  • Reliable, independent way of working
